The Mi.To. therapeutic tables constitute a therapeutic tool with which treatments can be administered in order to treat many posture-related injuries and disorders. In this course we explain how these therapeutic, postural tables are used in daily practice and offer different treatment options.
We take you a short journey through different treatment options for low back and spine pain. We uncover the importance of breathing exercises through building patient awareness. This is followed by traction positions that use the natural forces of gravity, myofascial stretching postures, spinal mobilisations and isometric contraction exercises.
We show you how the Mi.To. therapeutic, postural tables are used to release and lengthen the psoas muscles and hamstrings in combination with neurodynamic mobilisations to help relieve chronic back pain.
In spine treatments we can use the Mi.To. therapeutic, postural tables for lateral spine mobilisations, flexion and extension mobilisations with or without rotation coupling. Furthermore, you’ll see how also the cervical and thoracic spine can be treated.
You’ll see how goniometers can be applied to the different segments of the Mi.To. therapeutic, postural tables in order to accurately objectify progression in your treatments.
